How to add request type in JIRA service desk

 JIRA service desk is tool which help to track the incident, service request in any organisation. In our previous articles we have have already discussed about the features of JIRA service desk.

In this article we will discuss "How to add request type in JIRA service desk"

To add request type in JIRA service desk please follow below steps.

Firstly go to the project in which you want to add request type.

Now go to project setting as shown in picture below.


After clicking on project setting below screen will appear & after that click on request type icon as shown in below picture.


After clicking on request type screen below screen will appear now click on add new request type icon as shown in below picture.

After clicking on add new request type below screen will pop up now add name of request type and select issue type after this click on next as shown in below picture.

After clicking on next below screen will pop up now select the portal group in which want to add this request type as shown in below picture.

Now go to the request type and you can find the request type that is created by you.


By these above steps you can easily create a request type in JIRA service desk.
