Active and Passive components
In basic of electronics this is the first topic to understand so lets start.Active passive component are mostly used in electronics circuit each of them have different properties and characteristics.
Passive component:-
As the name suggest passive which means inactive. The passive components not required any type of external source to start it operation.The following are example of Passive component which are given as below
1.Resistor
2.Capacitor
so these are the passive component used in electronic circuits.
Active component:-
Active component are those component which are required external source for their operation and these components are mostly used in electronic circuit for amplification,rectification,tunning etc.The examples for these components are given as below.
1.Diode
2.Transistor
The above mentioned component both are active in nature both required external source fr their operation examples as diode required 0.7 volts of supply to operate unless without supply it will not show its operation.
